Settings

Manage your profile, subscription, and account preferences.

Accessing settings

  1. Log into your Axle dashboard
  2. Click Settings in the sidebar
  3. You'll see your account settings organized in tabs

Profile settings

Update your personal information:

  • Name - Your full name
  • Email - Your account email address (used for login and notifications)
  • Password - Change your password anytime

Click Save after making any changes.

Subscription management

To manage your subscription:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find the Subscription tab
  3. You'll see your current plan and renewal information

To change your plan:

  • Click View Plans to go to the Plans page
  • Select your desired plan
  • Follow the checkout process on Lemon Squeezy

Plan changes are managed on the Plans page. Changes take effect immediately.

Stripe connection

View your connection

In the Stripe section, you'll see:

  • Your connected Stripe account email
  • Account status (Live or Test mode)
  • Connection date

Disconnect and reconnect

If you need to use a different Stripe account:

  1. Click Disconnect next to your current account
  2. Click Connect Stripe to authorize a new account
  3. Follow Stripe's authorization flow
  4. You're now connected to the new account

Disconnecting Stripe will stop all payments immediately. Only disconnect if you're switching to a different Stripe account. Your transaction history is preserved.

Notifications

Configure how you receive updates:

  • Payment notifications - Get email alerts when payments succeed
  • Account notifications - Get alerts for important account events
  • Trial expiring soon - Reminder before your trial ends
  • Subscription alerts - Updates about billing and plan changes

Delete account

To permanently delete your account:

  1. Scroll to Danger Zone at the bottom of Settings
  2. Click Delete Account
  3. Review the warning — this action is permanent
  4. Enter your password to confirm
  5. Click Delete

When you delete your account:

  • All settings and configurations are permanently removed
  • Transaction history is archived and cannot be accessed
  • You cannot undo this action
  • Your domain registrations are removed

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you've backed up any important information before deleting.

Two-factor authentication

For enhanced security, you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA):

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click Enable 2FA in the Security section
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
  4. Enter the code from your app to confirm
  5. Save your backup codes in a safe place

With 2FA enabled, you'll need to enter a code from your authenticator app when logging in.

Connected apps

View any third-party apps that have access to your Axle account:

  1. Go to the Connected Apps section
  2. See all authorized applications
  3. Click Revoke Access next to any app you want to disconnect

API access

Your API credentials are managed in the API Keys section, not in Settings. Go there to:

  • View your live and test API keys
  • Generate new keys
  • Revoke old keys

Privacy and security

  • Your password is encrypted and never visible to Axle staff
  • Your Stripe credentials are never stored by Axle (only OAuth tokens)
  • All data is transmitted securely over HTTPS
  • You can request your data or delete your account anytime
