Connect Stripe

Why connect Stripe?

Stripe is the payment processor that handles all transactions. When you connect Stripe to Axle, customers' payments are securely processed and deposited directly into your Stripe account.

Connect your Stripe account

1. In your Axle dashboard, go to Settings
2. Find the Stripe section
3. Click Connect Stripe
4. You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure login page

First time with Stripe?

If you don't have a Stripe account yet, no problem:

1. Click Connect Stripe in the Settings
2. On Stripe's page, click Create a new account
3. Fill in your business details, email, and banking information
4. Complete Stripe's verification process (usually instant)
5. You'll be redirected back to Axle

Existing Stripe account?

If you already have a Stripe account:

1. Click Connect Stripe
2. Log in with your Stripe credentials
3. Authorize Axle to access your account
4. You'll be redirected back to Axle, and your account is ready to accept payments

After connecting

Once connected, you'll see:

• Your connected Stripe account details in Settings
• A green Connected indicator
• Your Stripe account's live mode status

You can also disconnect and reconnect to a different Stripe account at any time in Settings.
